The Teddy Bear Club academic program is designed for children two through five years of age. Each class level is called a Jardin (garden). Petit Jardin applicants (our youngest class) must be at least two years old by September 1.
The Teddy Bear Club offers a morning session and an afternoon session of three hours each. Children may apply to either the morning or afternoon session. Drop-off and pick-up times for each session differ slightly by age group and are listed on each individual class page.

The Petit Jardin provides a sense of “home away from home” to our very young students. Our primary goal is to help the children develop strong social and communication skills while gradually becoming more independent. Over the years, many long-lasting friendships have started in the Petit Jardin!Read a sample of our Petit Jardin's weekly curriculum bulletin!
Children in the Moyen Jardin are learning to become part of the community. They are forming strong bonds with their classmates and enjoying exploring all areas of the classroom with their friends. Large-group, small-group, and individual activities alternate to provide teachers with the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with the children while also offering the children opportunities to explore a broader classroom dynamic.Read a sample of our Moyen Jardin's weekly curriculum bulletin!
The Grand Jardin children form a vibrant community right in their own classroom! They exhibit strong self-help and social skills, and have become more independent and self-confident. They are inquisitive and eager to explore a wide variety of topics. Whether the children are participating in a science experiment about magnets or writing lowercase letters in their cahier d’écriture, the Grand Jardin children are increasingly developing a passion for learning. It is not unusual to see a child coming into school, asking eagerly, “What are we going to learn today?”Read a sample of our Grand Jardin's weekly curriculum bulletin!
The Jardin Maternel program provides children with the opportunity to participate in a balanced, multi-sensory curriculum that furthers their development of literacy skills, mathematics, science, social studies, computer and technology, performing and creative arts. In addition, the children continue their French language study by developing strong listening skills, expanding their vocabularies and formulating short sentences. Our kindergarten program may be used either as a transitional kindergarten year for children too young to attend kindergarten, or as a regular kindergarten program for children planning to attend first grade the following year.Read a sample of our Kindergarten's weekly curriculum bulletin!
The Après-Midi (extended day) program features a wide variety of stimulating games and activities, arts and crafts, movement, music and drama, free play, and playground/gross motor time. Children socialize in a mixed-age classroom and participate in a range of projects based around monthly themes such architecture, health, or the changing seasons. Children enjoy a lunch from home and a mid-day nap or quiet time between the morning session and our extended day activities.
